Royal Wedding Inspiration
Posted by Colleen on 2nd May 2018
Who else is looking forward to the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle? I will be getting up super early to watch the nuptials and I am hoping that my daughter will want to watch it with me :o)
The Handkerchief Shop had the opportunity at the beginning of the year to have custom embroidered handkerchiefs included in a special royal inspired editorial shoot for Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Abroad. I was fortunate enough to connect with Heather Benge from Heather Benge Events. She sent me a beautiful color palette of whites, blushes and golds, her inspiration for the royal shoot. A beautiful crest was created by Melissa Gullatte from Gracefully Made Art for the royal inspired invitation suite and I embroidered it on blush, gold and white lace trimmed wedding handkerchiefs as a personalized gift idea for the royal attendants. There were so many fabulous wedding vendors involved in this editorial, from boots by House of Elliott and gown by Heidi Elnora to amazing flowers by Cece Designs and vintage details by Tea & Old Roses. All this royal goodness fit for a prince and princess captured by super photographer Julie Paisley with the stunning Winwood Equestrian in Birmingham, Alabama as a stunning backdrop.
Be sure to check out all the wedding vendors that were involved in this shoot (at the bottom) if you are looking for the royal treatment!
