I just want to take a moment to talk about something personal.....my son is heading off to Kindergarten next week! If you have a child starting school or one heading back, you probably know what I mean when I say, it makes me want to slow down time just a little bit. There is something about starting a new school year  that makes me pause and think about all of the fun things we have done together and vow to be more "present" in the everyday moments because children grow up so quickly. I am looking forward to all of the fun stories he will share from his days at school and the activities that we will get to do together. But have no doubt, that I will have my Happy Hanky in hand while waiting for the bus with my little man. I'll be choking back tears and telling him how excited I am for him while at the same time thinking that five years ago I was holding a newborn.
